We turned fresh roma tomatoes into a tomato sauce while learning the canning process. The mashing was especially satisfying. We will be using the homemade sauce for a future pasta lab! Stay tuned!

One Minute Chocolate Cake 🍫
A pop up lab! The super simple microwave cake itself was a little dry. Perhaps because the microwave took away some of the moisture? But I couldn’t have asked for more from a one minute cake 🙂 (Our unit decided to decorate with the leftover chocolate chips.)

The first lab of the year!!! Topped off with bananas, whipped cream, and a drizzle of syrup, it had the perfect amount of sweetness.
